| My character Doctor Danger is a homage to the Republic and Columbia sci fi serials of the early 1950's like "Zombies of the Stratosphere", Radar Men from the Moon" and the unbelievable "Lost Planet" (not to be confused with the "Lost Planet Airmen"). I spent many a happy afternoon watching those "classics" during my school days. My friends and I built cardboard rocket packs and underground forts trying to emulate the seriously silly adventures of Commando Cody! |
